Heatless Holiday Curls: Hairstyle Ideas for Natural Hair

Hey guys!! So, the Christmas holiday season is here! I wanted to share some of my holiday hairstyle ideas that you may want to try. Bantu knots are my favorite way to achieve my curls! If you read my last hair post, you know that I straightened my hair for the first time in a looooong time a couple of weeks ago.

I surprisingly achieved this look on straightened hair! I wasn’t sure how the curls would turn out, since this was my first time trying this style on straight hair. Because my hair was straight prior to doing the bantu knots, I didn’t get the volume I’m used to having with my bantu knot out (I’m usually a big hair don’t care kinda girl lol!), but it still turned out a lot better than I was expecting.

Here’s how I do my bantu knots…

I always let my hair air dry overnight. For the takedown, I separate the curls as gently as I can, to prevent too much frizz. Then I fluff my hair out with a pick!
