Welcome to my blog!

Hello! I’m Sheena Vonique, and I am the lover of all things beautiful! I am a wife, and mother of four. I’m also a military veteran, having served 12 years in the Air Force.

I created Purposed to Inspire as a way to express myself creatively. It is my hearts desire to encourage, empower, and inspire those around me.

For years, I tried to figure out where I fit into this world. That left me feeling frustrated and overlooked. At times, it felt like I didn’t have a voice.

I realized that I was so frustrated, because I had been trying to fit myself into a box. I spent so much time trying to figure out the ONE THING I was supposed to do with my life.

After a long journey, I realized that I’m not just one thing, and I can’t be put into a box. I love many things, and I enjoy making everything around me beautiful. That includes you!

I love to create! So, my blog will consist of an array of topics. The topics I write about reflect my passions. While I want to inspire my readers to look good on the outside, nothing is more important to me, than my relationship with God.

I hope that each of my blog posts will inspire you, and help you to discover the beautiful person that God has called you to be. God has hidden things on the inside of us. We don’t know who we are, or what we’re truly made of, until we allow God to show us.

Like a beautiful work of art, God wants to unveil the beauty that is within us.

I want you to see your true beauty, inside and out. Not only is this just the beginning for me, but this is just the beginning for you as well.
