Believe it, Before You See It
Believing in something before you see it, is so contrary to human nature. We’ve been conditioned to see things FIRST, and then believe. Life teaches us to adopt the phrase, “I’ll believe it, when I see it.”
Life is so full of setbacks, disappointments and unkept promises. So many of us have been hurt by people. Many times, we’ve been hurt by the people we’ve trusted the most.
Because of the way our minds have been conditioned, sometimes we can be guilty of putting God into the same category that we put people in. Although the world says that seeing is believing, the bible says that we should walk by faith and not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7)
Our faith pleases God. When we have faith, and believe God’s word and His promises, this actually brings the Father joy.
“So, you see, it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that there is a God and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6 NLT)
When I began to ponder on the word “impossible”, I realized how far outside of God’s character the word really is.
The word “impossible” means not able to occur, exist or be done.
Where in our bibles, do we read that God is not able??? Where in our bibles do we read that God does not exist? Where in our bibles does it state, it can’t be done with God???
GOD CAN DO ANYTHING BUT FAIL!
God wants us to believe in his character. He is, who He says He is. Therefore, we can trust that EVERYTHING he has spoken over our lives is true!
Today I’m asking you, what are you believing God for? Are you waiting until you see evidence of the thing you’re believing for, before you begin to believe?
Don’t wait until the situation turns around. Already BELIEVE that it’s done!
Already SEE yourself as an author, BEFORE you ever write the book.
Already SEE yourself as a business owner, BEFORE you ever make a dime.
Already SEE yourself as a world changer, BEFORE anyone ever knows your name.
Already SEE yourself where you want to be, NO MATTER HOW IMPOSSIBLE THE DREAM MAY SEEM.
The word tells us that it is impossible to please God without faith, and the word also tells us that…
NOTHING
IS
IMPOSSIBLE
WITH GOD!
Believe it, before you see it!
