Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

IMG_4757.jpeg
Last week, I went toe-to-toe with self-doubt. I have to admit that it was winning for a second. Then, I quickly had to remind myself that, I am fearfully and wonderfully made by the hands of the almighty God. I told self-doubt to shut up, and have a seat, because I’m determined to walk in my purpose.

So, true story y’all. This past week has been rough for me mentally. I allowed self-doubt, and the lies of the enemy, to almost make me want to go run, and hide.

To look at ourselves in the mirror, and think that we’re not good enough, is like telling God that He made a mistake on his very own creation…YOU!

The Bible tells us that we were created in the image of God. (Genesis 1:27) God created us so that mankind could see a reflection of Him on the earth through us. God wants us to represent His kingdom on the earth.

So, IT’s time that we begin to see ourselves the way that god sees us.

No longer see yourself through the lies of the enemy. No longer see yourself through the lens of your past. No longer see yourself through your insecurities, or the lies people have told you.

You are qualified to handle the path that God has placed before you. God spoke the world into existence. God placed the sun, moon, earth, and the stars in the sky. He created the galaxy! If you’ve accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, the spirit of the living God, lives on the inside of you.

So don’t sell yourself short. You have so much to give to the world.

Check out this week’s Wisdom Wednesday video on my YouTube channel, where I discuss how to overcome feelings of self-doubt.

Today’s Prayer

Lord, I thank you for the truth of your word. Please forgive me for all the times that I’ve doubted you, and the times that I have doubted the person you created me to be. Help me to see things clearly. I reject every lie of the enemy, and I receive the truth of your word. I choose to believe what you have said about me. I thank you that I am fearfully, and wonderfully made. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Psalms‬ ‭139:14‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬) “I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.”
